"When we say something like “the hand of the Lord is against them” we are simply describing the exercise of God's Godness towards an object or person which God has chosen to act against. We do not mean that God has a physical hand. We use something called 'anthropomorphism'. Anthropomorphism is “attribution of human traits, emotions, or intentions to non-human entities. Anthropomorphism (from the Greek words "ánthrōpos" (ἄνθρωπος), meaning "human," and "morphē" (μορφή), meaning "form" or "shape") is the attribution of human form, character, or attributes to non-human entities.” (Wikipedia)
'Hands', 'Arms', 'eyes' are simply words we use, and God uses related to Himself, to help us understand what is happening or about to happen. Remember, John has told us that God is Spirit. God is immaterial and cannot be seen with the naked eye. I have mentioned over the years that, even in heaven, we will not see God who is Spirit. We will see God in the face of Jesus Christ. John the Beloved saw the One on the throne in Revelation 4:2. Isaiah, in Isaiah 6:1, tells us, “In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.” (KJV)"
