"The Jews of Berea, if you notice, “...were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica,..” In other words, they were willing to do the work to see whether Paul and Silas were speaking the truth. They knew what they believed. They knew what they had been taught since they were children. However, they were not adverse to new information. They were not adverse to God being God, and revealing His plan of the ages, even in a way they were not expecting."
