"Over the last few weeks we have been studying the incommunicable attributes of God. We have spoken about the fact that God is 'infinite'. We have considered that God is 'immutable' and God is 'immortal'. These attributes belong solely to God. We do not find these attributes inherently in any creation. God alone is eternal, infinite and unchanging.
When God created, a measure of the attributes of God was given to creation and displayed at the highest level among mankind. In other words, men can have a measure of wisdom, show mercy, and do good. They can do justice, and show compassion, all of which directly reflects the person of God as shown through His creation. No man or woman has the full measure of mercy, or grace or justice or kindness etc... No man or woman possesses immutability, immortality or is inherently infinite."
